Join guest naturalist George Steele on a walk exploring the nature of night. We’ll investigate what animals might be out there and how they are adapted to the nighttime, and discover how we can better explore the night by tuning in to our own 5 senses. Some of these activities will be featured in George’s new book, “Wait Till It Gets Dark”. We’ll start indoors with a short reading that will include what inspired the book and some of the strategies for improving our own senses for exploring. Then out into the night we will go! The new book will be available for purchase and George will be on hand to sign copies after the walk. Call 518-872-0800 to register.
